Getcandl is a birthday reminder application that helps you remember important dates, prepare thoughtful gifts, and keep a log of what you gave each year. We provide:
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 16 years old to use Getcandl.
We use passwordless authentication (magic links and Google Sign-In). You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
Getcandl is free for up to 5 contacts with core reminder functionality. The Pro plan unlocks unlimited contacts, gift suggestions, and the full gift history log.

Pro is available at €34.99/year or €4.99/month, including EU VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until then. We do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where required by EU consumer law.
You own your data. We do not claim any rights over the contacts, gift history, or notes you enter. You may export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You agree not to:
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Reminder delivery depends on third-party email infrastructure. We are not liable for missed reminders caused by email delivery failures, spam filters, or service outages outside our control.
Getcandl is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including without limitation any missed birthdays, failed gift purchases, or relationship consequences thereof.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Getcandl after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We may also change pricing, features, or plans. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes at least 30 days in advance and may cancel before the new price takes effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, except where EU consumer law requires otherwise.
